My name is Emily, and I will be writing about my 14 year old daughter, Heather, as she battles a problem that is plaguing almost every school in the United States - bullying. As a parent, I can honestly say this is something that I had hoped none of my children would ever have to endure, but my very bright, beautiful teenage daughter has been the victim of extreme bullying since starting at her current school district two years ago. As I write what has happened to her, I will change the names of the children customizing her as what is going on with her is currently being investigated by a detective from the DA' s office. With that said, I will start by writing what she has endured. So far, what we have reported to the detective, she has had pencil erasers thrown at her, she has been called a whore, one girl so far has thrown a USED BLOODY tampon at Heather, she went on last week to throw a lollipop stick and a wrapped menstrual pad at her. A boy one time licked a cap to a Sharpie marker and wiped his spit on Heather' s arm. Another girl threw wrapped tampons. Yet another girl has spread through the school that Heather is a whore (even though Heather has only ever had one boyfriend and she wouldn't even kiss him as she's afraid of boys), while another girl wrote on the bathroom wall "Heather _______ is a whore". Heather was involved in a school bus accident last week, where she hit her head and is diagnosed with a concussion. The girls accused her of lying. So I made a Facebook post - enough was enough - I named the girls and told them they needed to leave my daughter alone or I was calling the police, and said since they feel the need to get people to harass my daughter based on the lies they told about Heather, they should be harassed about the truth about them, because one of those girls stole her parent's car and wrecked it while the other one lifted her shirt to allow two boys to fondle her while she was dating one of Heather' s friends. The girl that threw the bloody tampon made sure to tell Heather' s other bullies that I posted it, and the bully that wrecked the car sent her a profanity laced message on Facebook telling Heather she's lying about being hurt in the bus accident and telling her "'Suicide attempts' shut the f___up." in reference to Heather attempting suicide last year because of the bullying she's endured. So since the school has yet to do anything to combat this problem, we went to the DA' s office yesterday to press charges.

I will be posting daily so I have a record of what's going on,and also to keep any interested readers informed.
